a thought.

"Being powerful means that my experience, my discovery, even my pleasure are mine to create. This view has us see how audiences create performances, children create parents, students create teachers and citizens create leaders. It is not that this shift of cause is necessarily true, but it gives us power. In every case, it puts choice into our own hands instead of having us wait for the transformation of others to give us the future we desire. Inverting our thinking does not change the world, but it creates a condition where the shift in the world becomes possible."
